When pitches in Contently expire (after 21 days of inactivity) or are declined by the client, you're able to re-submit the pitch to the same client or submit the pitch to your other relevant clients within Contently.
Click on "Ideation" at the top, in your global navigation bar.
To re-submit to the same client, click "Edit" on an expired or declined pitch, then "Submit."
To submit to another client, select the option "Pitch Elsewhere" and information from your original pitch will port into a new form.
This feature is designed to get your pitches in front of multiple clients, but our plagiarism policy still applies: it's never okay to write the same story for multiple Contently clients. In other words, if two of your clients accept the same pitch, you can only write the story for one of them—and we trust you to communicate that distinction.
Note: Please note that contributors are not able to submit the same pitch to multiple publications. However, once a pitch is formally declined or expired, it is free to be submitted elsewhere.
