Below are Contently's recommended revision times by content type:
Exceptions
Not all revisions will follow the recommended time listed above. Revisions that require additional research, reporting, or design work, for example, may take longer. Note that if the scope of the assignment expands during the editing process, revisions may warrant an additional project fee.
Best practices
Build revision time into the workflow. Creating steps in the workflow for revisions will let all parties know when to expect them.
Don't let content sit idle for too long. Content that sits unreviewed for too long may not be revised within Contently's standard revision times. Bear in mind that freelancers are independent contractors and must schedule their time in advance.
Communicate. Communicating with freelancers about timelines will help set the right expectations throughout the project. For example, if it becomes apparent that revisions will take longer than you had anticipated, communicate the delay as early as possible.
